If you are in a domestic violence situation or you now recognize a shocking number of Domestic Violence red flags, I hope you can find it in yourself to seek help from one of the resources below or call one of the domestic violence helplines.  In fact, they can guide you in coming up with a Domestic Violence Emergency Action Plan, in the event that you have to leave in a rush.

However, if you are not ready to call the domestic violence helplines yet, here is a useful form to help you work on your own emergency plan. Overall, it includes things like having a bag with essentials packed, knowing crucial phone numbers and emergency shelters, having originals and copies of important paperwork.  Above all, be prepared, reach out, get the help you need, and mostly – get the help you deserve!
